I bought a Korean retail account.
It's amazing, I haven't had this feeling in a game since my first days on L2 back in 2004.
The world, mob placements, towns and things like that are all just like L2. It's going to have a PvP/PK system like L2 (in Korea there is a declare system, you use an item to declare PK on someone, and 5 sec later you can attack them...You can't refuse declare and there's no penalty if the other person/party doesnt fight back.
There's no sieges or stuff like that, but there is going to be instanced guild vs guild fights like what Guild Wars had.
There is also a 'political system' where players can be elected king (everyone in server has to vote), and get tons of power over the land, when king you can do 100x as much stuff as you could owning a castle.
Action based combat is 1000x better than I could have imagined, I'm never going to be able to play a 'select target mash keyboard' game again.
TERA is created by the devs who made Lineage 2, they were fired sometime around C5-Interlude release, they stole the code since they made it and made a new company (Bluehole) to release TERA. NCsoft sued them and won a settlement, but it was only like $2million. This game was basically going to be L3, and it's from the devs who made C1-C5.
Also I need a new computer cause I can barely play it on low/medium settings

if any of u guys want to dl the game i have no prob with letting you try for a little while on my account if im not playing.
Also the game just screams L2, the world and all the places are so familiar. Haven't been wowed by simply exploring a game since L2 until now. Everywhere you go it reminds you of some place in L2
no, there used to be google translated one, but it stopped working last update and the guy who made it got cease and desist order to stop.
It's likely a new one will be made soon, but for now u gotta play in Korean. It's not hard though, easy to find NPCs and quests have a link which tells you where on the map the mobs are. Plus we have a full english guild and tons of ppl in vent to help out.

After dissing Cleric about his Aion propaganda for x months I ended up playing it. So I suppose I'll just accuse him of propaganda for this one then play it after insulting his mother a bunch of times.
