L2Evoke [IL OFF] Lowrate - Launching soon!

Welcome boys, girls and other little creatures!
I would like to introduce L2Evoke to you: a low rate Lineage II Interlude [OFF] server that brings Lineage II back to the community as it was intended! We intend to deliver a balanced low rate server to the community that will cater to your needs!

We are currently running an open beta (alternating between 5x and 100x EXP) to test our server files and the settings mentioned above. Features and settings are still up for debate but we will not stray far from what we have listed here so far. Join our community to actively participate in the discussion what your next server should look like! Our forum and game account panel are fully functional and our web dev is working hard to get our website aired during this week as well!

After the recent discussions on our forum we have decided to go for the following rates:

Adena: 5x (1x chance)
Raid drops: 1x
Spoil rates: 5x

Donations
There will be no donations in the first two weeks of the server. Donations for first and second class change and hats are currently under consideration. There will in any case never be any game influencing donations on L2Evoke, that we can guarantee you! The team behind this project owns the machine the software is running on and is professionally involved in managing servers for corporate clients. We are therefore not depending on our players to pay our server bills!

L2Queen has a 2x IL server open right now, which I know is too hardcore for most everyone here Due to low popluation, the admins are going to open a higher rate one, like 4x to 7x depending on public opinion, after the 1st of this month.

I can say it's the most stable, bug-free, retail-like server I've seen in years, maybe ever on a private server. The admins are professional and awesome and active.

If you guys are looking for an IL server, I would seriously not go anywhere but L2Queen.

L2Evoke has a nicer banner though ^^

i left u a question on ur forums about ppl behind the project ,admins , developers expiriance , data center location.
im not gonna try to organise 100 ppl on a blind faith.

also free advice, increase rates on ur beta server to at least 50x and open olympiad 24/7 with heroes rottation of 2-3 days so ppl can at least have some fun and be easyer for them to check 70 + locations on map w/o grinding a month .

-fg (efegue) is our main dev and apart from having a successful career in IT he has been developing l2 OFF files for several mid rate servers. As we've posted before fg owns the machine the software is running on and is professionally involved in managing servers for corporate clients. - Next to fg there is me (Ares), I'm a senior manager for an international advisory firm in every day life and will mostly be administrating the forum and managing the community. I've been playing l2 since prelude on both retail and private servers and am mostly giving fg advice on what features the server should have etc. we also have a web dev who is currently working on our CMS but I only know her real name and have no clue what nick she'll have on our forum.
- The box is hosted at OVH Data center (1 GBit/sec) (France) and we use their pro anti-ddos package etc

We have no intention of making this a short term project and are open to suggestions from the community.

Good answer, and your timing really is good.

L2Queen has foolishly decided to raise the rates to 5x without wiping, so everyone that knew how to play has quit and left the level 40's there to enjoy their "victory" on the dead server. The only other low/mid rate IL servers are Global's 4x bot/bug fest, and IceFire's 7x l2j crap.

Agree agree and agree moaRRRR

Rates are at 5x for a reason atm but you can level your character up and down in the user panel as well as give it any items/as much adena as you want: http://panel.l2evoke.com/beta (or Beta testing in the left column of the user panel)

- Skills are auto learned on beta.
- Class changer and buffer NPC's are added

live date moveing more into november cuz the communities that play with us usualy on same servers
